Rick Halvorsen called a special meeting for the Warren County Republican Central Committee.  They drafted and approved the following resolution to be presented at the Republican Party of Iowa State Central Committee urging them to retain Danny Carroll as Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa.

There were 20 to 25 people who attended the meeting and only one no vote because that person wanted a vote of no confidence instead.

A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF REPUBLICAN STATE CHAIR, DANNY CARROLL AND CO-CHAIR, GOPAL KRISHNA

WHEREAS, a meeting has been called by members of the Republican State Central Committee of Iowa regarding the vote to remove the Chair and Co-chair of this organizatin; and

WHEREAS, we the members of the Central Committee for Warren County Iowa wish to make our voices heard,

WHEREAS, Warren County Republicans desire UNITY between ALL groups that call themselves Republicans across Iowa, therefore we believe the greatest show of UNITY is for State Central Committee members to work together to resolve any differences that exist.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the members of the Central Committee for Warren County to make public our support of retaining Danny Carroll and Gopal Krishna as Chair and Co-chair of the Republican State Party of Iowa to the completion of their term in January.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the members of the Central Committee for Warren County we ask the members of the RPI board respect this resolution.
