Joni Ernst’s campaign launched a new 3 minute online ad they have entitled “Momentum.”  It features her recent campaign stop in Independence, IA during her 99 county tour, interviews with supporters, and highlights her agricultural background.

This was well done. I think it will be particularly effective with small town and rural voters.  I liked the optics of her being interviewed in the vehicle getting visiting different parts of the state.  I believe average voters will resonate with those supporters interviewed for the ad as well.

I know I was a little hard on “About” ad on the radio last week, but let me give her campaign kudos for the interviews they did with soldiers that she has led.

Below is an 30 second testimony with William Jacoby who was one of the 150 Iowa soldiers that Ernst led in Iraq in 2003.

The second ad along these lines is with Retired Command Sgt. Major Chris Fox who also served under Ernst’s leadership in Iraq.
