Believe me, I would be SO happy to be proven wrong.
Unfortunately, ever since 2005, I've seen every twist in the road coming.
I just wish there was somebody at the GOP wheel who at least watched the road. Maybe Sarah will bring that to the table.

I wouldn't call it hopelessly naive. It depends on the candidate that she decides to back.

Blue Dog Democrats may be the only reason cap & tax doesn't make through the Senate.

While the intention is good, this is hopelessly naive.
The conservative Democrats who swore they'd vote for McCain in 2008, didn't.
In the end, they voted for Obama.
And they will again.
Power always overcomes ethics on the left side of the world.
Why do you think Tammany Hall lasted as long as it did?
Everyone bemoaned its corruption, but instead of ending it, the Democrat "bemoaners" returned to it time and again as a dog returns to its own vomit.
