img_1368In an age where consumerism has made its way into the Church, there is about every kind of Christian shirt out there.  Fluffy, silly, good theology and bad theology alike.

But I like what New Reformation Press has done with their products.  They have taken a different spin on  Christian tees.  When you are wearing a t-shirt that says ‘simultaneously sinful and justified’ in Latin, it brings questions from people, and in return a great theological discussion  in which the gospel is clearly preached to other believers and unbelievers.

I have two NRP shirts, and I wear them proudly.  My first one was the Simul Iustus et Peccator T-Shirt.   And recently I was very excited about the addition of a women’s style  Chi Rho t-shirt, which is my new favorite.

Even my twelve year old son has really gotten into the NRP shirts.  For his birthday, he asked for the Simul Iustus et Peccator Lions T-Shirt. His friends have liked his shirt so much that even one of his Catholic friends proudly wears one now.

My six year old has the Simul Iustus et Peccator T-Shirt, which comes in children’s sizes.  While it is one of his favorite shirts, I don’t know that at this point he is discussing justification with his friends while wearing it.

With New Reformation Press now supporting the great work here at Caffeinated Thoughts, I hope that you will check out the shirts, and the other great products.
