WSJ’s Washington Wire: Palin Plans New Political Group. *If* the scuttlebutt is true it looks like Sarah Palin will start a new PAC called “Stand Up For Our Nation.” I wondered why she would do that since she has SarahPAC, but Josh Painter gives some pretty good reasons why she would.

#1 reason not to use SarahPAC: it makes it look like it’s all about her.

@Foxfier, Interesting point… SarahPAC is, as Josh Painter noted, a leadership PAC, not an issues one… so in that respect it was never really set up to do what they say she is going to do.
As with everything with Sarah Palin anymore I’m not banking on anything until I hear either she says something or her spokesperson, Meg Stapleton.
