Obama: Spend More on Health Care or the Government Will Go Bankrupt
Did anybody have a head scratching moment watching President Barack Obama’s interview with Charlie Gibson? I know Eric Goranson, one of our contributors, said it insulted his intelligence. Do his statements make sense to you? Do his comments reflect common sense? I don’t think so.
How in the world are we supposed to believe that by passing a huge health care reform bill with tons of new spending that this will keep our government from going bankrupt? Spending is what is taking us there quickly. Let’s look at the omnibus bills or the $1.1 trillion appropriations bill that he just signed yesterday with it’s increase in spending. Look at the Stimulus package.
What he predicts will happen if we don’t pass this monstrosity of a bill is exactly what will happen if we do.

Kind of like a school district in Minnesota telling parents if they don’t raise taxes all buses will be cut.
