Shane is the editor and administrator of Caffeinated Thoughts. Shane has been involved in youth ministry since 1992 in church, para-church, and Christian school settings. He is currently the Director of Ministries & Volunteer Development with Serve Our Youth Network in Des Moines, IA – a ministry that reaches out to high-risk children and youth throughout Central Iowa. He was also recently the interim pastor at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Indianola.
Shane is also a member of the Polk County Republican Central Committee, and serves on their publicity and communication team. He’s also the Iowa Coordinator for the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee.
He has been married to Cheryl since 1993 and has three wonderful kids, all of whom have contributed to the increasing number of gray hairs on his head, but it has been well worth it.
