Reformation Day – Luther’s 95 Theses

October 31 marks Reformation Day, though many churches celebrated Reformation Sunday last Sunday.  According to traditional accounts, on October 31, 1517, in response to the controversy surrounding the sale of indulgences,  Martin Luther’s 95 Theses were nailed to the door at the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany as an invitation to debate them.
