Over the last ten years the Iowa Legislature has failed to accomplish property tax reform. In the Iowa House we are exploring several workable options.
State Representative Chris Hagenow (R-Windsor Heights) represents Iowa House District 43. He is the House Majority Whip and is serving his third term in the Iowa House.
Chris grew up in Cedar Falls, graduating from Northern University High School and the University of Northern Iowa Magna Cum Laude in 1994. Chris earned his JD from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1997 and is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association. Chris is a founding partner of the Des Moines law firm Whitaker, Hagenow & Gustoff, LLP.
Chris sits on the steering committee for the Iowa Federalist Society. Chris serves on Iowa Prayer Breakfast Committee and is a member of the Windsor Heights Lions Club. Chris is married to his wife Amanda and they have two young sons. The Hagenow’s attend Westkirk Presbyterian Church in Urbandale.
