From an article in the Chicago Tribune. Governor Perry’s actions and what Merck is doing could influence what is done in Iowa as well. I have some real reservations about this on a variety of different levels.
Will this encourage more girls to engage in pre-marital sex?
Does this infringe on parental rights, another example of the state telling us how to parent?
Is it a good idea to let a drug company (Merck) have so much influence in public policy, especially when the fact is they are going to make gobs of money?
Anyway, I would love to read your thoughts!
