Mike Huckabee now leads in Iowa according to the latest GOP poll done by the Des Moines Register.  He leads claiming 29% of likely caucus participants compared to Mitt Romney’s 24%.

The news is looking good on the national level, as well seeing Huckabee moving into 2nd place only five points behind Rudy Giuliani in today’s Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (17% to 22%) – gaining two points from yesterday’s poll.

I still find it laughable that some of the pundits still don’t think he can win the nomination.  Look how far he has come!  Kudos to William Kristol of the Weekly Standard who did state that Huckabee can win the nomination on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace this afternoon.
