It seems like this is starting to become a weather blog, but things in Iowa have been crazy weather wise. This photo of the Little Sioux Tornado (categorized an EF3) was taken by a Boy Scout that was near the Little Sioux Boy Scout Ranch in Western Iowa shortly before it hit the camp and killed four boy scouts there and hurting 48 others.
Wow. Remember to pray for the families of those who died and pray for those who are recovering both physically and emotionally.

Correction: Thanks to Chris who corrected the story behind this picture. I didn’t mean to mislead anybody and I am happy to share this because I do want to be accurate.
I asked around on Twitter and found this was actually a photo in Orchard, IA (near Osage in N. Central Iowa) NOT of the Little Sioux tornado.
Photo and story in Mason City Globe Gazette.
