Anyone who has a WordPress.org blog I have a question.  Any idea what to do if people’s comments keep getting misplaced?  I’ve had that happen to two readers and each time I’ve done a test comment.

If you have any suggestions, I’d love hear them.  You can e-mail me at [email protected].  Thanks in advance!

Update: I discovered that the problems began when I added widgets to the post pages’s sidebar (previously had nothing).  I remove them and presto, the comments function once again.

  1. Are you running Akismet? If so, it’s possible the comments ended up being eaten up by that by mistake. Or, you could’ve marked someone’s comments as spam accidentally, and that’s why they’re not showing up. Or, they could still be in your comment queue (providing you have to approve comments before they go live on the site).

    Just a few ideas.
