This has to be a record in getting sound bites from a debate out in an ad. As many times as Senator Barack Obama said, “Senator McCain is right” I thought it would show up in an ad. I just didn’t think it would be within an hour after the debate.

I thought that was pretty quick for a guy who doesn’t know how to use the Internet! Oh, wait, maybe he does!
I also realize that I’m not on the national stage on national TV debating with exceptional public speakers.
That said, I’ve come to learn that using the word “but” gets you in trouble. I wonder what other trouble the would be President of the United States has if he is willing to make it so easy for someone seeking the same office to mince his words? What given the nuances of foreign relations pray tell would he do if they, like McCain choose to ignore the facts he presents after the “but” which are intended to negate what comes before.
So, if I am trying to disagree agreeably, I might say something like this… well on second thought, I don’t want to give the Obama campaign any ideas… not that they’ll read this post, but on the odd chance they do!
See, I can use the word “but”, and dare I say correctly?!
