Leanne Torres grew up in Kokomo, IN, has lived in various places, most recently Des Moines, IA before joining the admissions staff  at Anderson University in Anderson, IN in the spring of 2008.   As the Early Connections Coordinator for AU she is works with middle school students, as well as, 9th-11th graders to help them experience AU early in order to assist them in their decision in where to attend college.

Leanne earned her B.A. in Youth Ministry and Adolescent Studies at Judson College in Elgin, IL in 2004.  While there she served in the student senate and was also a dorm president for two years.  While in college and since graduating she has volunteered with several youth ministries.

Leanne enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and from time to time she will find a good book to read.  One thing that you will find her doing often is cooking and entertaining people.  She along with her husband, Jose, love investing in people’s lives, so it is not surprise that the one thing that gets her most excited in life is doing ministry.

Feel free to contact Leanne via e-mail at lmtorres@anderson.edu or on AIM at leannetorres.  Also make sure to check out her personal blog – Pieces of Leanne.
