I thought since we are officially into the Advent season I’d share Advent Conspiracy to you.  I think by some of the events of Black Friday we can see that we need to do something differently.  Americans spend approximately $450 Billion on gifts every year.  What if we spent less and give more?  Spend more in time and less in material things?  Spend less time shopping and more with those we love?  Focus less on the activities and stress of the season and more on the One the season is all about in the first place?

Imagine what could be done with even a fraction of the money we spend on gifts if it went to help those less fortunate?  Let’s worship more fully!  Let’s place the emphasis on Christ and not on consumerism.
