We are in the season of Thanksgiving, but I wonder how many of us take time throughout the year to be truly thankful? How many truly amazing things are happening all around you, but you miss because you have your eyes on the immediate?

My personality makes me want to see instant and fantastic movement and change, yet that is not always how God works. If I let that part of my personality control my life, I will constantly be upset that things aren’t “right” and I’ll be stressed out. Jesus did not come so that I could live a life of stress and frustration!

My hope and prayer for you this season is that you take some time and focus on all the good in your life, thanking your Creator for those things, and not letting anything else bring you down. Let His love cover you entirely, and just praise Him and praise Him.
