After six days, $109,620 has been raised. This was primarily done through different blogs. It received hardly any media coverage so this has been a good response and completely grassroots. Remember also, the maximum gift any one person can give is $150, so that means this webathon has seen many people give with various size donations.

Well, obviously, our goal remains to retire this debt. We will watch the official amounts released by the fund and adjust our fundraising goals accordingly. We need to continue to spread the word about this fund as opportunities arise. Ironically, it is the frivolous complainers themselves who are our best fundraising tools – whenever they make another bogus complaint, outrage ensues and Governor Palin’s support solidifies. We need to make sure those folks are aware of how best they can express that support – by financially contributing to her defense.
One thing that we can continue to do, is a while back Bill OāReilly said he would get the word out about Governor Palinās legal defense fund. He has yet to do so. Encourage him to keep his word.
