SOY Star Logo - MEDIUM Back in August I shared with you about the ministry I serve, Serve Our Youth Network and it’s financial situation.  Well we have some big, big news and it is very good.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!  We still need support from the Body of Christ (as grants run out and won’t fund our chaplaincy ministries), but this gives us an increased capacity to provide re-entry aftercare for kids coming out of detention.  It will also provide us with some financial stability.

We also had year three of a current grant (for mentoring children of prisoners) approved, and may be awarded a subcontract grant through a national organization, Amachi, to run concurrent with that grant and help us to extend that two years after the federal grant ends.

Anyway, I wanted to give you an update.
