You’ve probably already heard about the shooting that took place today at Ft. Hood, Texas.  According to Fox News at least 12 are dead with 30 wounded

I’m sure there will be much speculation and discussion about that the event, but tonight let’s pray for the victims’ families and those who are wounded.  These families have already been through much with numerous deployments.

  1. My daughter is stationed at Fort Hood. When I got home (after already hearing about the stuff while I was at work), I had a message on my phone, delivered at 1630 eastern time. My daughter is safe and Fort Hood is on lock-down.
