You can’t expect unbiased coverage on MSNBC of President Obama’s speech on Afghanistan last night at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY.

But Chris Matthews referring to West Point as the enemy camp… really?

Setting new lows in journalism, way to go Matthews. And MSNBC wonders why their ratings are tanking.

The cadets were respectful, but not enthusiastic (perhaps that has something to do with them being there three hours beforehand).  If Matthews wonders why he wasn’t warmly received maybe it is because the military, by in large, feels like President Obama doesn’t support them.  But where should he go for this speech?  And what should he do?  Avoid the troops?  He is the Commander-in-Chief after all, and I am sure they’d miss those photo ops.
