Florida Governor Charlie Crist and former Florida Speaker of the House Marco Rubio are competing in the Florida Senate Republican primary.  Crist seen as the establishment candidate, Rubio is a conservative favorite.  Crist is falling fast in the most recent poll.

I’ve said before I think Rubio best represents the type of candidate that we need in the Senate (not that my opinion means a whole lot).  Crist is representative, in my opinion, of what has been wrong with the GOP. Crist ending the debate with a personal smear I don’t think bodes well for him.

One good thing though is that he committed not to run as an independent if he loses the nomination.
