  1. More obstructionism from a Republican beltway insiders, concerned only with getting reelected. Yawn.

I think the most interesting thing about this video is her casual dismissal of public sector jobs, as if they don’t count. Talk about disconnected from reality! Here’s an idea, instead of talking to a sycophantic Republican interviewer, she should try telling the millions of government employees that their jobs aren’t actually real and that they aren’t contributing to the economy, see what kind of a reaction she gets.

But at the end of the day, this is just more good news for the Democratic party. The more Republicans obstruct and drag their feet, the more they are fracturing their own party, and the worse it is going to be for them come November.

And it shows what a blind juggernaut the party has become. It would be so easy for Republicans to sweep the elections in November if only they had a coherent, affirmative message, instead of being lead into the abyss by reactionary sentiment. Just goes to show that the inmates are truly running the asylum now, because this could never have happened to the disciplined party of Atwater and Rove.

  2. You could tell that Bachman was giving non existent to faint praise to Pawlenty regarding a run for the Presidency.

Bachmann gave a good speech at the rally including a story how Clergy on the Dorcester in WWII comforted and gave aid to Sailors.

Anyway, Bachman in her Speech at the Bachmann/Palin Rally, with much enthusiasim shouted that we would elect a Rock Ribbed Conservative Constitutionalist President in 2012.

Palin and Pawlenty were never on stage at the same time. Less than 48 hours after the Bachmann/Palin Rally, Pawlenty and Rommney of Rommneycare Fame were back-slapping each other and complimenting each other at at “Conservative” get together in Bloomington Minnesota.

OT/BTW Shane, did you know that “GO Fish” opened up the Rally for about 45 minutes? I thought that was really unique. A musical group that truly understands the Gospel, opening for a public Civil rally.

O.K. Herman Cain gets it, Ret. Lt. Colonel Allen (Jack Bauer) West gets it, Alfonzo Rachel gets it, I wish Micheal Steele had the passion, Star Parker gets it, Angela McGowen gets it, the partcipants of Beck’s “A Time to be Heard” Conservative African Americans get it. I can possibly see why they may not want to do it, but hey they studied the Puritans! Could one see Lecrae, Flame, et all do what Go Fish did in Minneapolis on April 7th? Maybe not. But if I were Palin and I got asked to Host or Co-host with Beck on SNL, I would ask for Lecrae,Flame, et all to be Musical Guests.
