Bob Vander Plaats Bob Vander Plaats will be making his first public comments since primary night two weeks ago.  He will be on Steve Deace’s show on WHO Radio from 5:00p – 6:00p on Friday (that is what the press release said) WHO Radio just said “tomorrow.”  So I would listen tomorrow.

Perhaps we’ll get some rumors dispelled or confirmed… did he ask to be on Governor Terry Branstad’s ticket and was told no?  Is he contemplating an independent run?  Does he support the move to have a vote on him becoming the Lt. Governor nominee at the Iowa Republican State Convention this weekend?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

In the meantime – the Branstad Campaign says it will announce their Lt. Governor pick tomorrow.  In related news, I dropped off the petitions and supporters’ list at the Branstad Campaign offices for the Rod Roberts for Lt. Governor Campaign.  If you get a chance watch KCCI and/or WHO-TV at 5 and 6p and possibly at 10:00p as well… yours truly was interviewed.
