In case you missed Governor Palin’s Fox News Sunday Interview with Chris Wallace here it is below.

HT: Conservatives 4 Palin  Money quote from the interview that had a few people talking – Governor Palin on Arizona Governor Jan Brewer’s attempt to address the illegal immigration problem.

Jan Brewer, bless her heart, she’s going to do all that she can to continue down the litigation path to allow secure borders because she’s — Jan Brewer has the cojones that our president does not have to look out for all Americans, not just Arizonans but all Americans in this desire of ours to secure our borders and allow legal immigration to help build this country as was the purpose of immigration laws.  If our own president will not enforce the federal law, more power to Jan Brewer and 44 other states who are in line to help support Jan Brewer in state laws, state efforts to do what our president won’t do.

She isn’t the first to talk about President Obama’s cojones deficit, and according to Rush Limbaugh she’s one of the few Republicans who has cojones herself.  Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) didn’t realize she was bilingual.  Ah, obviously not biologically correct, but her analysis is spot on.

  1. True, gotta admire Palin for saying whatever comes into her mind.

    However, she is now part left-right paradigm of the “establishment”, when she endorsed the two “elites”, John McAmnesty and Rick Perry, (who only postures on illegals, while supporting their in-state tuition and anti- HB1070, not to mention his huge efforts using eminent domain for the NAU Superhighway), she lost all respect, in my book.

    She’s just another political hack, trying to get her “side” fired up…. she dumped her principles when she endorsed the two RINO’s and showed herself to be just another party hack.

    Also, she just up and quit the job she was elected to do. That tells me enough about her. I actually think she is unstable.

    1. Sure she’s part of the establishment, is that why they attack her? She endorsed Perry over Hutchinson who was worse. Did you really expect that she wouldn’t endorse her former running mate? Give me a break.

      As far as her resigning – I’ve blogged enough about that. It was a selfless move that saved her state money and freed up Parnell to pursue the agenda they had without the crap. She had plenty of good reasons to resign.

      You calling her unstable tells me all I need to know about where you are coming from.

  2. I voted for Palin but her use of the vulgar Spanish word for testicles or “balls” makes me less likely to vote for her in the future;

    If she wants to offend people why not use the English word and offend a greater number of people?

    Would she use that kind of language in a discussion with polite and respectful company or even a world leader?

    We have former Secretary of State Marilyn Albright for popularizing the vulgarity when replying to Cuban pilots shooting an American airplane. Very disappointing

    1. Ok, your right to be offended. Had she used balls or testicles I wouldn’t have thought any differently. Many Americans are fully aware of what cojones means.

      I’m personally not offended.

    2. Ligaid,

      Actually I think you have it backwards. The Spanish words cajones means drawers (furniture). I think it is used by English speakers for testicles, for its neat “sound”. I have written elsewhere that I think the use of mild profanities is bad. Especially, if self-consciously done. I am much more upset by the phrase “Gosh Darn It” which is a variation on God’s name and judgements. It is more difficult to pinpoint and criticize some of the other usage (though ascribing male anatomy a female is problematic!) because the Bible itself will use such language. For example, our righteousness is as dung. (In reality, this is a euphemism for unrighteousness, for no doubt it is really worse than dung.)
