DES MOINES – The Republican Party of Iowa today launched its comprehensive statewide effort to encourage Iowans to take advantage of early voting opportunities. Beginning today, Iowans can cast their vote for the general election at their county auditor’s office. Iowans will also have the opportunity to vote at satellite locations between today and Nov. 2. Iowans can find their nearest early voting location by going to www.iowagop.org/voteearly.

Iowa GOP Chairman Matt Strawn said, “Iowans don’t have to wait until November to change the direction of this state and this country. It’s time to return principled, conservative leadership to the State of Iowa and that starts today with electing Republican candidates. We have 40 days to bring competent leadership back to Iowa.”

Strawn also noted that this is the first time Iowa Republicans have worked with all 99 counties to develop early voting locations all across Iowa. “While we are confident this will yield tremendous dividends for our candidates, it is ultimately the Republican message of bringing competent, principled leadership to Iowa that will drive more Iowans to vote Republican than Democrat this Fall,” he said. This morning, Strawn encouraged Iowans to vote early through this video message.

The list of early voting locations will continue to be updated, and can be found at www.iowagop.org/voteearly.
