President Obama was on the Today Show and was asked whether or not his children could receive as good of an education at a D.C. public school as what their “elite private academy” provides.  He notes that D.C. schools are making strides toward reform, really?

His solution since the “lottery system” isn’t available for enough children in D.C. was to get rid of the lottery system all together.  He sees that private education is better, but yet he allowed the plug to be pulled on the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program.  Restoring this program would be a worthy achievement for a lame duck Congress which would I’m sure receive bipartisan support.
