Washington D.C.- Congressman Steve King (R-IA) today issued the following statement thanking our nation’s veterans for their service to the country. King also announced that on Veterans Day he will be participating in ceremonies marking the dedication of a new VA Clinic at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, Iowa.

“Every Veterans Day provides Americans the opportunity to reflect on how much is owed to the brave men and women who answer their nation’s call to arms,” said King. “The liberties and the freedoms we cherish as Americans exist today because of the tremendous sacrifices America’s veterans have made in their defense. I offer my sincerest salute to America’s military veterans, and I encourage every American to offer their gratitude and thanks to those who have served, and to those who currently serve, in the Armed Forces of the United States.”
