imageHouse Republicans followed through on a campaign pledge today.  House Resolution 2, the “Repealing the Job Killing Health Care Law Act” passed through the House 245 to 189 (which, by the way, is a larger margin than passed it in the House).  All of the Republican caucus and three Democrats: Representatives Dan Boren (D-OK), Mike McIntyre (D-NC) and Mike Ross (D-AR); voted in favor of the repeal.  Though Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has promised he would not allow a vote on the bill, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) assures a vote.

We’ll see, though it is too bad that House Republicans had to act like a bunch of Nazis and voted to strip people of their constitutional right to taxpayer-funded healthcare.  What were they thinking?

Sheesh. (Tongue planted firmly in cheek)

Seriously, this is just a first step in the repeal and replace  strategy.  Up next: tackling taxpayer-funded abortions.
