By Sarah Palin

Today the White House finally produced its proposal for the 2012 budget. Beware of the left’s attempt to sell this as “getting tough on the deficit,” because as an analysis from Americans for Tax Reform shows, the White House’s plans are more about raising taxes and growing more government than reducing budget shortfalls.

The fine print reveals a White House proposal to increase taxes by at least $1.5 trillion over the next decade. If you want to know how minuscule their proposed $775 million-a-year budget “cuts” really are, please look at this chart. The proposed cuts are so insignificant – less than 1/10 of 1% of this year’s $1.65 trillion budget deficit – that they are essentially invisible on the pie chart. That speaks volumes about today’s budget.

  1. get your facts straight…. But in his piece, Lew only picked three examples that added up to $775 million — rather the administration’s cuts are more in the rage of $75 billion.

Lew even writes, “these three examples alone, of course, represent only a small fraction of the scores of cuts the president had to choose, but they reflect the tough calls he had to make.”

  2. Sarah is so dumb .She has no idea what she is saying she just spouts her mouth off. How can anyone think this woman is smart? Republicans should have someone smarter than this to run. Also she has been accused of being involved in many illegal activities. Can not wait for the e-mails she has had suppressed for over two years to come out.

  3. What Sarah Painin is spouting is someone elses words written for her as she knows nothing about budgets or taxes herself. Before her followers go gaga they better wait for someone other than the Painin’s to weigh in.

    before her

  4. How can Palin talk about some one spending money like a fool, She spent money building a road to no where and the Tax payer got it put to them again by a woman that douse not know her a– from a hole in the ground. All she can do is open her big mouth and bad mouth others that at lest is trying to do some to get us out of this miss Repl. got us into.

  5. Sarah Palin knows nothing about the budget. As another reader says, someone else is feeding her to keep her in the lime-light. Someone explain to her that Egypt is in need of a President.

  6. she no doubt would have became a good governor in Alaska, but it was a terrible mistake for John McCain to choose her. She had only been in office two years. She would have been a good vp pick for 2012 or 2016, but not in 2008, especially since she had no legislative experience prior to being governor. If McCain picked Palin to try to get women to vote for him, he should have picked Kay Bailey Hutchison, who was a 3 term senator. Although she had an ACU of 90, she could have helped unify the moderates and conservative factions of the party.

  7. The more people hate Sarah, the more they make fun of her, the more I like Mrs. Palin!! She is like burr under their sadle. She just keeps irritating the left, while her popularity grows.
