State Representative Greg Forristall (R-Macedonia) was pulled over Wednesday afternoon and was arrested for driving drunk.  His blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.

Why would a State Representative do something so incredibly stupid?

I don’t know perhaps he was lamenting his decision to vote against the personhood bill.  Perhaps he thought that he too could also be promoted to Iowa House Leadership after winning reelection without a general election challenger.

Thankfully no one was hurt.
