imageWe were told that he would announce his intentions regarding the Presidential race, and now we have the word that Texas Governor Rick Perry will announce he is running for President.   He’ll make that announcement on Saturday at the RedState Gathering in Charleston, SC.  He’s heading on to the Hawkeye state after this speaking at a fundraiser in Waterloo, IA.

Any wagers on this being included in the questioning tonight?  Well we can’t have a presidential race without a southern governor.  Now the million dollar question is will we have a candidate from Alaska?  Some believe that Perry getting into the race complicates former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s decision, but I still think she may run (I’ll never be 100% certain until I hear her announce).
