I was pretty hard on Newt Gingrich a few years ago when he appeared in an ad with Nancy Pelosi promoting the need to combat “climate change”. I was quite happy to see that Newt has concluded that was a huge mistake:
First of all, that is probably the dumbest single thing I’ve done in years,” Gingrich said. “It is inexplicable that somebody used to say, ‘You know, there aren’t enough hay wagons to stand on to get people to understand that.’ You just need to relax and go, that was dumb.
I got a big kick out of Charles Krauthammer asking Gingrich if he was held hostage during the filming.
He and his wife Debbie have been married thirty-eight years and have four children and twelve grandchildren. His passions are politics, history, theology, economics, business, and basketball!
