I was not able to watch all of last night’s debate, but I did catch some of it now that it is online.  I agree with Jeff Angelo’s and Kevin Hall’s assessment of Texas Governor Rick Perry’s debate performance.  The moment captured on video below will forever enter the halls of political misfortune and horrible debate performances.

 

That was painful.  Stick a fork in him, he’s done.  Three things, three things he needed to remember from his own plan.  If he can not remember the three departments that he would shut down if elected President, as I said last night, he didn’t do anything to help himself overcome the “he’s not very intelligent” narrative.

Governor Perry vows to stay in the race, but he really needed a solid debate performance to help revive his campaign.  He didn’t get it.
