Well at least one of my questions anyway.  I had a couple of questions after A.J. Spiker was elected to replace Matt Strawn as the Chair of the Republican Party of Iowa by the State Central Committee.  The question about whether he would support Ron Paul if he ran as a 3rd party candidate has been answered to my satisfaction.  Jennifer Jacobs of The Des Moines Register wrote late Saturday night:

Spiker, 32, is a real estate agent and a member of the party’s central committee. He is well known for his strong backing of presidential candidate Ron Paul, but Spiker said he resigned Saturday as co-chairman of Paul’s Iowa campaign and will support whomever the Republican nominee is. (emphasis mine)

Now whether or not he would endorse during a contested primary?  Based on his response to the primary question I doubt it.   I’m not quite as cynical as some.  It seems like he wants to be above board on how he conducts himself in this roll.  So I’m putting my concerns aside, and I hope others would give him a chance as well.
