IOWA CITY, IA – Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s leading advocate for economic freedom, will stop in Coralville, Waterloo and Ames on Monday and Tuesday for its Obama’s Failing Agenda Tour. These events will highlight President Obama’s failing green energy policies by reducing the price of gas to Iowans to $1.84 a gallon*, the cost of gas four years ago before President Obama took office. Another bus tour event will feature local radio personality Simon Conway.
“President Obama’s ideologically-driven “green energy” policies have made it more difficult for Iowans to fill up their tank and drive to work, get their kids to school, and enjoy their free time,” explained Americans for Prosperity-IA State Director Mark Lucas. “Our events will help Iowans get around this week and remind them of the need for sound energy policies that create jobs and lower our energy prices.”
