(DAVENPORT) – John Archer, Republican Candidate for Iowa’s Second Congressional District, today launched his first television advertisement of the 2012 election cycle. The 30-second advertisement, titled “Next Generation” focuses on Iowa’s need for new leadership and highlights Archer’s pro-growth policies for job creation.

The advertisement can be watched here or above.

“Iowa families and businesses continue to face tremendous uncertainty with what is coming out of Washington – uncertainty with the tax code, uncertainty with the record level of debt, uncertainty with the burdensome regulations,” Archer said.  “I will provide certainty through commonsense pro-growth policies so that Iowans can prosper and our next generation will be left with a stronger state and nation.”

The following is the script of “Next Generation:”

FEMALE ANNOUNCER:

Higher taxes and more regulations are killing jobs…

While the next generation inherits the debt.

Iowa needs new leadership.

John Archer.

His career at John Deere and his small business ownership gives him a unique perspective.

Archer understands high taxes and overregulation hurt job creation.

Archer will fight the wasteful spending…

…and to repeal Obamacare.

John Archer.  Leadership for Iowa.

JOHN ARCHER:

I’m John Archer and I approve this message.
