(AMES) ā€“ Rep. Steve King (R-Kiron) today released his fourth television advertisement, titled ā€œTruth.ā€ The 30-second advertisement highlights the truth about Medicare ā€“ ObamaCare cuts it by $716 billion, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

ā€œThe left, in a desperate attempt to scare seniors, is advancing lies regarding Medicare, but the truth is ObamaCare is the only law cutting seniorsā€™ care to the tune of $716 billion,ā€ said King. ā€œChristie Vilsack supports Obamacare, but I am the nationā€™s leading opponent of ObamaCare because it infringes on our unique American liberty, guts Medicare, costs Americans jobs and puts a bureaucrat between seniors and their doctors.ā€

The advertisement will air across the 4th Congressional District.

The following is the transcript of ā€œTruthā€:

Steve King:

Strengthen Medicare? Thereā€™s one easy way. Get rid of ObamaCare.

ObamaCare cuts Medicare $716 billion dollars. It creates a board of fifteen bureaucrats to control seniorsā€™ health decisions.

Liberals always try to scare you about Medicare. Well this time answer back and say that you know the truth.

ObamaCare has to go.

Iā€™m Steve King and I approve this message.
