wigginsPLEASANT HILL, IA – After completing its four-day, 17-city NO Wiggins Bus Tour last week, Iowans for Freedom continues to educate voters with a new statewide television ad about voting “NO” on the retention of  Iowa Supreme Court Judge David Wiggins.

The advertisement, “Hold Him Accountable”, went up on television last Wednesday. The National Organization for Marriage has partnered again with Iowans for Freedom on the NO Wiggins retention effort.  The ad can be viewed above.

The ad highlights Wiggins’ 63 percent retention approval from more than 500 members of the Iowa State Bar Association, which is by far the lowest score of the four Iowa Supreme Court judges up for retention on November 6th.

“Our message is resonating with voters,” said Bob Vander Plaats with Iowans for Freedom. “This television ad shares many of the concerns we heard from voters across Iowa on our bus tour. It’s a freedom issue and they are concerned that if Iowa judges are willing to redefine the institution of marriage, then they won’t blink an eye when they take away your private property, guns, freedom of religion, or freedom of speech.”
