Hillary-Clintons-Outrage

It has been much reported that outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had an outburst during her testimony on Benghazi.  Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) asked her whether the state department ascertained whether the Benghazi attack was the result of a protest.

Clinton responded, “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Actually it does make a difference, and that certainly doesn’t diminish the fact we have four dead Americans.  Don’t their families deserve the truth?  Doesn’t determining the true motive behind an attack also help you in safeguarding against a future one?  Also if a protest over a movie deemed offensive to Muslims wasn’t the culprit why then did they say that it was?  The root cause of an attack does make a difference.  This was nothing but a deflection of a legitimate question by Senator Johnson.  Future prevention of these attacks requires honest answers and Secretary Clinton failed to provide them.

I think we’ve seen a preview of some future 2016 political ads.
