ups-truck(Sioux City, IA)  “Once again, we are seeing a nationally recognized company being hit by the implementation of Obamacare,” said Sam Clovis.  Clovis, candidate for the U.S. Senate, had this to say about UPS making the decision to take spouses off their insurance due to Obamacare.

“Obamacare is going to sting our economy,” Clovis remarked.  “Our country was founded on the free marketplace theory.  That is why we are considered one of the richest nations in the world, and why other countries look to us as the free market standard for the world.”  He continued by saying that we need to pull this program out by its roots.  Defunding and a total repeal of Obamacare is the right thing to do, and it needs to be done as soon as possible.

An option to healthcare would include allowing consumers to purchase healthcare across state lines.  “Diversification within the healthcare system is going to create not only better health care, but jobs as well.  Dropping spouses from company healthcare plans is bad policy and replacing it is our first priority,” said Clovis. “UPS did what many other companies are looking at because of the financial burden that the Obamacare mandate is placing on their companies.  Once again, this is additional proof that Obamacare is having the opposite of its intended effect.”
