(Des Moines, IA) Gov. Terry Branstad today set the House District 33 special election for Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
The election is needed to fill the seat of Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who resigned effective August 15, 2013.
House District 33 encompasses portions of Polk County.
