(Des Moines, IA) Today Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker sent out a reminder that last week he issued the call to convention to select the Republican Party’s nominee in House District 25. The nominating convention is set for Monday, December 2 at 6:00pm and will take place at the Norwalk Easter Public Library in Norwalk. Earlier today Governor Terry Branstad announced the special election will take place on Tuesday, January 7th.

The convention will be called to order by Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker who will serve as convention chair. Republican House Majority Fund Director Lauren Page will serve as secretary. Delegates to the nominating convention received the Chairman’s call via U.S. mail last week.
