Sioux City, IA – The third annual “Siouxland March For Life” is scheduled for Saturday, January 18 at Cornerstone World Outreach Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The march will begin at 1:00 PM with a rally following at 1:30 PM.

The keynote speaker for this year’s march is Lia Mills, a 17-year-old pro-life activist who won international acclaim five years ago for a speech she gave at a school competition denouncing abortion. The speech was recorded and uploaded to YouTube where it garnished over one million views. A resident of Canada, Mills has become widely known across the United States and Canada as she has since gone on to produce other videos speaking out against euthanasia, contraception as well as those defining unborn babies as humans and persons.

Jake Dagel the Executive Director of Teen Defenders, the organization sponsoring this year’s march, said, “Lia has become widely known across the country for having a passionate stance about pro-life issues at such a young age.  We look forward to her bringing her powerful message to our area.”
