Iowa Republican State Senator and candidate for United States Senate, Joni Ernst, is proud to have sought, and now received, the support of former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee, Sarah Palin.

The endorsement of former Governor Palin is another sign of the growing momentum behind Joni Ernst’s campaign to become Iowa’s next U.S. Senator – a major step toward Republican control of the U.S. Senate. Joni Ernst has demonstrated that she is the only conservative in the race that can unite the party and win in November. With support from Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds, Gov. Mitt Romney, dozens of local elected officials, legislators and party activists, Joni is the full spectrum conservative who can count on support from the entire GOP, along with independents and Democrats who want to see real change in DC.  In sharp contrast to Bruce Braley, who yesterday insulted Republican Senator Charles Grassley and every Iowa farmer by insinuating that you’re not fit for public service unless you have a law degree, Joni Ernst is the proven conservative that will put our shared Iowa values to work in Washington.

“I’m proud to stand with the Mama Grizzly against big spenders in Washington like Bruce Braley and Nancy Pelosi. Sarah Palin is an inspiration to those of us who want to protect life, defend the Second Amendment, and get Washington out of our wallets. As our campaign builds energy toward a primary win in June, Sarah Palin’s roaring support will help me to victory, and as a result, make ’em squeal in Washington,” said Ernst.

JONI ERNST FOR U.S. SENATE FROM IOWA

If Nebraska’s Deb Fischer can see through the bull in Washington, then Iowa’s Joni Ernst can help her cut through the pork. Growing up on a hog farm in Southwest Iowa, Joni has taken her “pork cutting” skills to the Iowa State Senate where she has been a champion for life, small government, and lower taxes – voting for the largest tax cut in Iowa history. In Washington, she has pledged to defund Obamacare, limit the size of government, and protect life. As a concealed weapon license holder, she will fight to defend our Second Amendment rights – the NRA has given her an “A” rating.

Joni is a veteran of the Iraq war and continues her service as a Lt. Colonel in the Iowa Army National Guard. She’s been a fighter for freedom both in and out of uniform. Iowa – come together and send this Midwest Mama Grizzly roaring to Washington on her Harley so she can join with the good guys to get our country back on track!

Any question about the type of Senator Joni will be? Check out her first ad – she makes it pretty clear: http://youtu.be/p9Y24MFOfFU
