Shane’s view from the “Captain’s” chair.

Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers talk to Dr. E. Calvin Beisner, the founder of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation.  He is the author of  Prosperity and Poverty: The Compassionate Use of Resources in a World of Scarcity.  Dr. Beisner is also a featured speaker at our upcoming Caffeinated Thoughts Briefing in September. We discuss climate change and the “greening of the Gospel,” how the green agenda hurts the poor, as well as, the Next Generation Science Standards.

The guys also discuss DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz who believes it is wrong to punish men who force women to have an abortion.  Plus news from the “religion of peace” a Sudanese Judge enforcing sharia law orders a pregnant Christian woman to death for apostasy.

Then Dr. Robert P. George,  chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, delivered a somber message to Christians: “The days of acceptable Christianity are over.”

Remember you can listen on air at 7:00a and 6:00p on Saturdays on KTIA 99.3 FM if you live in the Des Moines/Ames Metro area.  You can also listen online live here.  Also we are now on iTunes!
