“After careful consideration, my wife and I have decided to enthusiastically endorse Sam Clovis for the Republican U.S. Senate primary in Iowa,” said Steve Deace, nationally syndicated radio talk show host.  “After vetting our three finalists as closely as we could, Amy and I firmly believe Sam Clovis is our best shot at sending someone from Iowa to defend and uphold American Exceptionalism in the U.S. Senate.”

“I am truly humbled to have received Steve and Amy’s endorsement,” said Sam Clovis.  “I have nothing but the utmost respect for Steve and the values that he uses to evaluate politicians and their stances on the issues.  Making sure Steve, Amy and their family—and families like theirs—have a secure future is why I am running for the U.S. Senate.”

Steve Deace went on to say that over the years, many have told him they want candidates willing to have a serious and substantive discussion about the future of the country and not just regurgitate talking points or get by on focus-grouped catch phrases.  “From the day he got in the race, Sam Clovis has done that.  He has put in the work on the campaign trail, taken the serious threats we face seriously, and demonstrated he’s the most prepared to govern according to the Constitution in the U.S. Senate,” stated Deace.  “That’s why we believe Sam Clovis deserves our support.”

Sam Clovis holds a Masters in Business Administration in Management and a Doctorate in Public Administration.  He is currently a tenured full professor at a private liberal arts college in northwest Iowa.  He served in the United States Air Force for 25 years and still provides leadership to defense and homeland security institutions.  He lives in Hinton, IA with his wife Charlotte and stepson Khan.  More information on the candidate and his campaign may be obtained at www.samclovis.com.
