Mother, soldier, proven conservative, and Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Iowa, Joni Ernst, proudly announces the endorsement of the United States Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber, founded in 1912, represents the interests of more than three million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions.

In announcing the decision, Rob Engstrom, National Political Director of the U.S. Chamber stated, “Joni understands that big government is an impediment to job creation, and that the best way to turn the economy around and create jobs is through pro-growth economic policies. The U.S Chamber is proud to stand with Joni and highlight her work removing regulatory barriers and encouraging competition in Iowa. In today’s economy, that’s the type of leadership we need in Washington.”

In response to this major endorsement, Ernst stated: “I am deeply honored to have the support of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  They do so much across our nation and in Iowa to create jobs and promote economic growth. With their help, we are going to carry our conservative message of less spending, smaller government, and lower taxes, all the way to Washington.”
