(URBANDALE, Iowa) – Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds today announced they will report more than $4 million cash-on-hand when their campaign disclosure report is filed prior to the July 21, 2014 deadline. Additionally, the Branstad-Reynolds campaign announced it had raised over $700,000 in the third reporting period of 2014 (May 28 – July 14, 2014).

“Once again, our campaign has worked hard to meet and exceed our goals at every step of the way,” said Governor Branstad. “The overwhelming support that we have received from Iowans on this campaign is humbling and inspiring. We will continue to focus on our positive vision for building Iowa’s future with pro-growth policies, a reduced tax burden for the middle class, and educational excellence for all.”

“This campaign has been about the future of Iowa, for our children and grandchildren, and we are energized to see this tremendous vote of confidence in our vision,” said Lt. Governor Reynolds. “Our team will continue to give momentum to all Republicans up and down the ticket so that we can have a resounding victory in November on Election Day. We won’t take anything for granted, and will continue to work hard every single day to improve the lives of Iowans.”

“With just 112 days until Election Day, the Branstad-Reynolds campaign is well positioned for the final months of this campaign,” said Jake Ketzner, Branstad-Reynolds campaign manager. “Our campaign has been able to release multiple TV advertisements and we have been able to air them statewide since June 4th. Iowans know that the Brandstad-Reynolds administration is working hard for them every day and getting the job done, with a record of accomplishments including reducing unemployment by nearly 30 percent, having more Iowans employed today than ever before, securing more than $9 billion in economic development projects, and signing the largest tax cut in Iowa history.”

The campaign will also report being debt free.

The full report will be available to the public upon filing on Monday, July 21st.
