Caffeinated Thoughts is launching its first 2016 Presidential Preference Poll.  This poll will be live until September 4, 2014 at midnight.  All are welcome to participate in this poll regardless of party or where you live.  We do ask Iowa voters to identify themselves so we can filter Iowa results.  Also you do have to decide which party you are likely to caucus or go vote in a primary for.  We recognize that the list of candidates will change (likely shrink) and that some prospective candidates are not currently included.  We have included prospective candidates that have been widely discussed as a likely candidates, have been polled on and/or have made visits to Iowa.  If there is a prospective candidate that you prefer you are welcome to add that candidate under “other.”

Republican Prospective candidates:

  • U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)
